Where it all began—I played it super cool and took a whole 8 minutes to respond. Meanwhile, Michael was laser-focused on the real question: food and whether I could cook. Spoiler alert: the cooking part is still a mystery.

Our first date was June 24, 2023—an unforgettable start to our story. It took us a few weeks (and a little courage) to finally take our first photo together, and even then, it wasn’t exactly planned. This impromptu selfie happened thanks to my friends, who were eager to see the reason behind my smiles.

We love creating new traditions together—little things we can one day share with our future children. One of our favorites? Picking out ornaments every Christmas to represent the year we’ve had. Our first year dating was all about oysters and champagne (seriously, everywhere we went!). This year, it’s our first Christmas engaged. Who knows what next year’s ornament will tell?

The day we got engaged felt like a dream come true. Michael had planned every detail so thoughtfully, and everything was absolutely perfect. We loved how intimate and personal the proposal was—it felt like our own little moment in time. And just when our heart couldn’t feel any fuller, it turned into a joyful celebration with our families and closest friends. It was truly the best of both worlds.
